He had winning ways, at least that’s how it seemed.
Under spacious skies where the deer and the buffalo roamed.
She was kind and gentle and trusted everyone
And so everybody was welcome in her home.
(She kept a knife in her boot just in case something went wrong.)

You better get your running shoes.
The jig is up; somebody must’ve told her.
She knows about the lies you told.
